About the beas kund trek 

The river Beas rises 4,361 metres (14,308 ft) above sea-level on the southern face of Rohtang Pass in Kullu called Beas Kund. The river was also known as Arjikuja of the Vedas, or Vipasa to the ancient Indians, and the Hyphasis to the Ancient Greeks. It is said that Beas is a misnomer for Vyasa and is named after Veda Vyasa, the presiding patron of the river; he is said to have created it from its source lake, the Vyas Kund.

 This trek to origin of Beas river through forests of spruce and silver oak to the base of the high summits of Hanuman Tibba (5,930 MTR), Friendship peak. You can have wonderful view of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges of Himalaya.

Day 01: Delhi-Manali.-Over night at Volvo bus

Day 02: Arrive Manali-Solang

Day 03: Solang- Dhundi- Bakarthach (11 kms/ 6 hrs)

Day 04: Bakarthach -Beaskund- Bakarthach

Day 05: Bakarthach-Dhundi-Solang-Manali. evening depart Manali to Delhi by overnight volvo

Day 06: Morning arrive Delhi

Detail Tour programme of Beas kund trek:

Day 01: Delhi-Manali.-Over night at Volvo bus
Travel distance and travel time 560 kms/12 hrs) approx 
Arrive Delhi Volvo station at 04 PM and board bus for Manali. Overnight in Volvo bus. Meals: no meals

Day 02: Arrive Manali-Solang
Arrival Manali Volvo station and transfer to Solang and allotment of tents/rooms is done so that you can relax and freshen up. Over night at camp. Meals- Breakfast+ lunch+Dinner only

Day 03: Solang- Dhundi- Bakarthach (11 kms/ 6 hrs)
An adventurous day where you will trek to Bakarthach camp crossing Dhundi which lies at an altitude of 9,300ft. The trek will take about 4-6 hours. Stay overnights in tents. Meals- Breakfast+ Packed Lunch+ Dinner only

Day 04: Bakarthach -Beaskund-Bakarthach
Trek to Beaskund lake. This lake is said to be the source of the river Beas and originates from the glaciers. It is a famous and holy spot which people come from far off to visit. Back to Bakarthach for the night. Meals- Breakfast+ Packed Lunch+ Dinner only

Day 05: Bakarthach-Dhundi-Solang-Manali-Delhi
Trek back to Solang valley, fresh up at guest house. later drive to Manali to board overnight Volvo bus. overnight at Volvo bus.Meals- Breakfast+Lunch 

Day 06: Morning arrive Delhi

Note :
Normally Himalayan Trek expect to carry your personal luggage on your own, if you don’t want to carry your backpack so you can give it to porter, but you have to inform us in advance and have to pay Rs. 400/- extra per day per bag.

Paying the Trek/ Adventure activity fee:
The fee can be paid by online transfer/check deposit/ demand draft. Instruction for payment will be forwarded along with your confirmation email. When your transfer is done, please e-mail us a confirmation mail with your transfer details, so that we can follow up your reservation efficiently.

When to book:
It is wise to make your booking at least two months in advance. However, if you want a good deal on your domestic/international flight, we recommend organising your trip at least five months in advance. (Please contact us if you require a late booking)

In the event of cancellation of trek/adventure activity services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows: –

Up to 24 Days :- 95% of Trek/adventure program cost will be refund.
Between 14-24 Day :- 70% of Trek/adventure program cost will be refund.
Between 14-10 Days :- 50% of Trek/adventure program cost will be refunded.
Less than 10 Days :- No refund
